My Solo Exhibition at the Hyde Park Art Center Explores Female Portraiture

CHICAGO - On May 14, 2017, the Hyde Park Art Center (5020 S Cornell) will open

my new solo exhibition “Interfaces” in the Cleve Carney Gallery and

Gallery 2. Highlighting the relationship between printmaking and ceramic processes, this

exhibition will showcase new work in both clay and print that combine the techniques of

each medium to represent the multifaceted condition being a woman.

Corinna Button

Corinna Button is a British artist working in Chicago. People are the subject of her work. She focuses on moments that (for her) seem charged with great significance and meaning; 'Its my fascination with people, the masquerades, performances and dramas seen in daily life that provides me with a continual source of inspiration..'

Combined with mastery of execution, Corinna Button conquers our imagination by placing a perennial mirror into our collective human experience.’
